国内産（香川県丸亀市周辺）の竹の骨を使用し、1本1本が職人さんの手により仕上げられた純国産品の手づくりうちわに一つずつ丁寧に穴をあけました。
丸亀うちわを機能性の面からみて、その新しい可能性を探究するために、広島大学附属高校様に実験の場をお借りして誕生したうちわが、「穴あきうちわ Knots θ°（ノッツ・シータ）」です。穴あき仕様にすることにより、より強い風速が出せるという実験結果が得られ、新発想のうちわとしてメディアにも取り上げて頂きました。
オールシーズン、様々なシーンで使っていただけるようにシンプルなデザインに仕上げ、また、専用パッケージは吊り下げフック（ＯＮ・ＯＦＦ）対応で製品の特長の「穴」と「竹の穂」が見えるように窓を設けたデザインになっています。保管ケースとして部屋に置いていただいてもお洒落なデザインになっております。

This Uchiwa is made from a giant timber bamboo grown in Kagawa Prefecture and the leaves are made of “Awa Washi” paper.

Master of Traditional Crafts produces each fan using bamboo grown in the Marugame City region and we made holes one by one in the fan.
We borrowed Hiroshima University Senior High School as a testing ground to explore new possibilities in the functionality of Marugame Uchiwa fans, resulting in the Perforated Fan “Knots θ°”
The experiments showed that the perforated design can generate higher wind speeds and has been featured in the media as a new concept in Marugame Uchiwa fans.
The simple design makes it ideal for all seasons and occasions, and the special package, which can be hung on hooks, features a peephole that shows off the product’s characteristic holes and bamboo head (Ho).
The stylish design allows for use as a storage case in the home.
