雲海をイメージしたうちわです。竹は染料で染めています。
小割とは、通常の骨を半分に割る事により、薄くしなやかな仕上がりになり、限られた職人にしか出来ない技が詰まっています。
伝統工芸士が心を込めて作りました。丸亀市は江戸時代初期から続く、生産量や形の多様さなどを誇る日本一のうちわの産地です。 1997年に国の「伝統的工芸品」に指定されました。

This is an Uchiwa with the image of a sea of ​​clouds. Bamboo is dyed with dye.
Kowari are made by splitting a normal bone in harf to make it thinner and more supple, and is packed with techniques limited to only a small number of artisans.
This is made by a traditional craftsman with all his heart. Marugame City, the largest Uchiwa-producting district in Japan, is famaus for its amount of production and variation of design since the Edo period. In 1997, Marugame Uchiwa were registered as Japanese Traditional Crafts by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
