伝統工芸士が心を込めて仕上げたうちわです。丸亀市は江戸時代初期から続く、生産量や形の多様さなどを誇る日本一のうちわの生産地です。丸亀うちわは平成9年に、国の伝統的工芸品に指定されております。

“MU163 Marugame Uchiwa Shark” features a unique pattern designed by Barbara from Nebula Studio. This beautiful uchiwa not only helps you beat the summer heat but also serves as a stylish addition to your interior decor.

This is made by a traditional craftsman with all his heart. Marugame City, the largest Uchiwa-producing district in Japan, is famous for its amount of production and variety of designs since the Edo period. In 1997, Marugame Uchiwa were registered as Japanese Traditional Crafts by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
